Religion: Belief in a superhuman controlling power

"Do you believe...?" accompanied with any question is answered immediately. It is an involuntary and automatic response based on all the thoughts and experiences of the past. While those experiences are filled with people and places that are not in our control, our ability to believe is ours alone.

Man created languages, books, clothes, buildings, and defined religious behavior but did not create our ability to believe. Our body and our mind and every connected system within can only be analyzed as an outside, not as the creator.

Man created Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam but did not create the world those beliefs are based on or the environment that provided the content for our religion
